The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Sunday that Lebanese citizens in Egypt can call 0020169860640 if they are in need of assistance.
The ministry added in a statement that it contacted Middle East Airlines to provide additional airplanes to evacuate the Lebanese citizens who asked to be taken out of Egypt.
Resigned Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Shami requested that Lebanese Ambassador to Egypt Khaled Ziadeh keep him updated on the situation of Lebanese citizens in Egypt amid the current developments, according to a statement issued by Shami’s press office on Saturday.
