New TV reported earlier today that Zahle MP Nuhad al-Mashnouq was assaulted in the Manara area and that the authorities had arrested 3 people.
But according to Voice of Lebanon Mashnouq wasn’t attacked. Several Beirut MPs and members of Beirut municipality were reportedly inspecting a project in the Manara area when an argument broke out with some youths. The army interfered and contained the incident.
