The Secretariat of the Maronite Diocese of Beirut issued a statement in which said that the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Ali Awad Asiri has contacted Bishop Boulos Matar, The Archbishop of Beirut to convey to him the respect and love of Saudi minister of information , Abdul Aziz Khoja and offered an apology for what was reported in the Okaz newspaper . He said the author of the article is not that well known and does not represent the official stand of the kingdom
