Following a meeting with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei , Hamas political bureau head Khaled Mash’al called on the world to remain silent regarding Iran’s nuclear issue, as it remained silent regarding Israel’s, and stressed that the Muslims are entitled to have all the weapons they need to defend themselves.
He added that Hamas would continue with its strategy of resistance, and would not submit to political and military pressures; he said that the Islamic movements would stand by Iran if it were attacked by Israel, which threatens all the Muslims in the region, and that Hamas, Hezbullah, and Syria “are aware of their obligations towards Iran.” Source: Al-Sharq Al-Awsat
