Former Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad siniora is the new target of attacks by Hezbollah led March 8 alliance. This comes after Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah accused Siniora and his cabinet of trying to prolong the 2006 July War, during his televised speech last Thursday.
Former PM and Lebanon First bloc leader MP Fouad Siniora rejected on Wednesday Al-Akhbar newspaper’s report that he met with Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea in Maarab along with Phalange Party leader Amin Gemayel and US Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly. The report is completely baseless , fabrications and lies , Siniora’s press office added.
Lebanon, which saw its economy expand 9 percent last year, should make the structural reforms necessary to tackle its massive debt during this period of economic growth as it will be much harder to make the required changes in less healthier times, the country’s former prime minister said.
