Hezbollah interrogating 3 of its cadre over spying for Israel

Al Liwa newspaper quoted security sources as saying that the leadership of Hezbollah are still actively engaged in the interrogations that are being conducted with three  of the party cadres on suspicion of involvement with espionage and the transfer of security information and sensitive military data to the Israeli enemy.

A Virginia man was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison on Friday for providing information to the Syrian secret police about US-based dissidents protesting the Syrian government’s crackdown. Mohamad Soueid of Leesburg, Va., allegedly turned over 23 audio recordings and nine video recordings to Syrian intelligence officials in Damascus.

Iran: U.S. Spy Plane Shot Down By Iran Armed Forces

Iran’s armed forces have shot down an unmanned U.S. spy plane that violated Iranian airspace along the country’s eastern border, the official IRNA news agency reported Sunday. An unidentified military official quoted in the report warned of a strong and crushing response to any violations of the country’s airspace by American drone aircraft.
