National News Agency (NNA) reported.
"All provisions of the resolution should be implemented without exceptions," Hariri told visiting UN special coordinator for Lebanon Michael Williams.
Hariri warned the international community against the "danger of any manipulation of resolution 1701", calling to safeguard the role of UN Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) "which protects the Lebanese borders against any Israeli aggression."
The Lebanese daily Al-Akbar quoted Monday an Arab diplomatic source in New York as saying that Israel does not wish to keep the rules of engagement of UNIFIL mandate, adding that Israel is seeking to turn UNIFIL into "an international deterrent force in south Lebanon working for it."
Israel has been violating the Lebanese airspace on daily basis ever since the 2006 war ended, but two recent incidents gave Israel the excuses it was seeking to turn the situation in its favor :
1- The explosion that occurred last Tuesday in an abandoned building in Kherbit Selim believed to be an ammunition depot for Hezbollah.
2- Over 100 Hezbollah supporters threw rocks at U.N. peacekeepers over the weekend, wounding 14 of them in an effort to prevent the investigation of an explosion in Kherbit Selim
Both Israel and UNIFIL termed the explosion a violation of UN resolution 1701 which stipulates no Hezbollah arms between the Blue Line on the Israel-Lebanon border and Litani River.
According to observers both Israel and Hezbollah are preparing for a war. Yesterday a Kuwaiti newspaper reported that Hezbollah went on high alert in preparation for a war with Israel. Israel is reportedly planning a preemptive strike against Hezbollah prior to any attack against the Iranian nuclear facilities.
Since as in the past Lebanon will be caught in the middle and will be the biggest loser if such a war takes place all efforts should be exerted to avoid such a war
