"I would like to thank all those who have been setting schedules here and there for anticipated encounters with political leaderships and outlining the work agenda for these meetings, which I have yet to decide on," Jumblatt told al-Anbaa newspaper.
"Only I will decide who to visit, when, how and according to what schedule," he said.
Jumblatt cautioned against the dangers of "speculations and counter speculations" saying "it will only make us all drown in the mazes of fortunetelling."
The Progressive Socialist Party leader praised Maronite Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir's "patriotic stands."
"Sfeir spearheaded the historic reconciliation in the mountain in order to turn the page on the past. We had preferred that some voices did not dig up the past anew even for the purpose of defending the patriarch," he added.
On Iran, Jumblatt said he preferred not to comment on mass rallies to protest the outcome of last week's presidential election.
"The PSP is committed to not interfering in Iran's internal affairs based on its calls for other sides not to interfere in Lebanese affairs," he said.
However, he added, "in light of dubious western and Israeli positions, I hope for a return to the stands of (former Iranian President) Mohammad Khatami, who has the most significant voice that rises above all suspicions."
