But Franjieh's Marada movement continues to reject any bilateral reconciliation with Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea and is insisting on the presence of general Aoun in any reconciliation meeting. Yesterday the Maronite League stated that a "meeting will soon take place between Geagea and Franjiyeh , but Marada is still insisting on attendance of Gemayel and Aoun"
Geagea on the other hand said he is ready to meet Franjieh at "any time."
According to media reports General Aoun is concerned about being isolated if such a meeting between Marada and the Lebanese Forces takes place and that is why he is trying to block it
