Saad, a member of Walid Jumblat's Democratic Gathering bloc, told representatives of the civil society in the western sector of the Bekaa valley, he doubts Syrian intentions towards Lebanon and said the Damascus regime "practices a deceptive policy."
He said President Michel Suleiman was "serious and responsible" in his efforts to work out normal relations between Lebanon and Syria.

Saad called for "backing the Lebanese Army
