General Aoun continues to be focal point as the spoiler with regards to the formation of the cabinet . Aoun also came under heavy attack by his ally , former premier Omar Karami who did not appreciate the suggestions made by the General regarding the authorities of the prime minuter position . Karami accused Aoun of "seeking to change the Prime Minister's position into "an office clerk."

Karami said Aoun's suggestion is aimed at "stripping the prime minister of all the powers gained by the Taef accord." He added "This is totally unacceptable."

The attack by Hezbollah supporters against U.S. Charge d'Affaires Michele Sison Wednesday was a big shock . Over 100 Hezbollah supporters stoned her motorcade in the town of Marjayoun, south Lebanon . The attack occurred Wednesday afternoon a Sison inspected some social and educational projects financed by the U.S. government in the southern market town of Nabatiyeh. The attack was described by local analysts as a "barbaric act ". The US lists Hezbollah as a terrorist group
