Dar el Fatwa is the headquarters for the Lebanese Muslim Sunni Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani ( R) , the highest Muslim spiritual authority in Lebanon.
Dr. Alloush who is a member of the ruling parliament majority called Karami " politically bankrupt" and accused him of following the lead of General Michel Aoun and Suleiman Franjiyeh in splitting the Christian community and the lead of Talal Arslan and Wiam Wahab in splitting the Druze community "to please his Syrian masters"
Alloush ( pictured) told Karami " you and your allies are trying to do to the religious community what the Syrians did for 30 years , during the occupation of Lebanon
Alloush further accused Karami of trying to end the phenomenon of the independent Lebanese entity to pave the way for the Syrian return to Lebanon.
Alloush told Karami : "I can see the day when you will start attacking the Grand Mufti just like your allies Aoun and Franjieyh are doing to Patriarch Sfeir"
Dr. Alloush concluded by saying Karami ( pictured) couldn't have picked a worse time to try to split the Sunni community and added :" This is the time to unite all the Lebanese people in the face of Syria's attempts create internal conflicts in order to divide us and to realize its ambitious dream of returning to Lebanon."
