There were rumors that a person died of Bird flue
The Ministry took random samples of all birds in Lebanon, tested them at al Fanar center and found out that none were infected with bird flu
The Ministry accused some pesticide companies of spreading rumors about the presence of bird flu for financial gain and warned that it will hold them responsible if these rumors persist.
It urged citizens to completely ignore any rumors related to the existence of bird flu in Lebanon and enjoy eating the birds .
