Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered a defiant televised speech that lasted for just over one hour in which :

Nasrallah Vowed that he would not leave ... and give up the country to the Americans."

Warned the Israelis that they will discover during any future confrontation" what a stupid act they did by killing Mughmiyeh"

Nasrallah said that despite the fact that Israelis killed Mughniyeh "the negotiations to release the prisoners was not interrupted " but pledged that whoever killed Mughniyeh should be punished, and would be punished. He added that he would "set the time, method and place for the punishment."

Mughniyeh's widow has accused Syria of helping the Israelis in assassinating her husband

But Hezbollah's deputy secretary general Naim Qassem tried to clear Syria's name when he said that he has proof that Israel is responsible for Mughniyeh's assassination .

In a speech last Friday to mark the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed, Qassem said "we have clear proof, of 100 percent that cannot be doubted, that Israel is behind the assassination."

Qassem said there is no basis for the claim that others were behind the assassination. "You should all know that Israel is responsible and it must bear the whole responsibility," he said.

Nasrallah warned that Israel's war "would not be a picnic because 85% of the Lebanese support efforts to topple the Zionist Entity."

The leader of the Iranian and Syrian backed opposition warned the United States and Israel against attacking Iran or Syria. He said it is natural for people to get worried, especially when U.S. Warships are off the coast of Lebanon.

Warned Israel that it will be heading for more defeats if it attacks Lebanon and said " Israeli Army does not dare launch an overland attack"

He reminded everyone that he "follows former Iranian Leader Khomeini's school of thought and the school of martyrdom" and reiterated what Iranian president said that " Israel could cease to exist".

Nasrallah reminded Israel that in 2006 he defeated its invading army and smashed its image. He added "the liberation of south Lebanon in the year 2000 established the fact that the Israeli Army can be defeated."

Nasrallah criticized western writers and cartoon artists for attacking Jesus and the Prophet. He described Jesus and Prophet Mohammed as "divine leaders."
Nasrallah praised the Christian and Muslim teachings and wished both Muslims and Christians greetings on Prophet Mohammed's Birthday and Easter
