Salameh says that Haifa took the rhythm of the song "Miser Ya Awal Noor Fe Al Donia Shaq Thalam Al Lail" (Egypt you are the first light that breaks through the darkness) that he previously composed. A song which was written by Abed Al Rahman Al Abnodi and sang by Muhammad Tharwat a few years back.

Salameh says that Haifa then changed the song to "Ana Haifa Ana" (I Am Haifa) without asking for his permission. He also adds that Haifa didn't take it upon herself to ask if she can have the rhythm of his song. She went ahead with releasing her song and also filmed a video clip for it and despite what Salameh said, she stated that it was composed by a different composer.

Salameh is asking the Music Association in Egypt to call in Haifa for questioning and to go as far as stopping her from singing in Egypt till the case is settled.

Salameh is also asking for compensation of 50 thousand Egyptian pounds that should be paid by the famous Lebanese singer.

Salameh filed for another lawsuit against Sami Yousif, who he also accuses him of stealing his song "La Ilahi Ila Allah" (There is no other God but God) that was composed by Salameh himself, written by Ahmad Haikal and Muhammad Rushdi sang it a few years back. Salameh says that Sami Yousif included the song in his album without going back to its previous owner. Salameh wants Sami Yousif to be also called in for questioning, and stopped from singing in Egypt until the case is settled and pay a fine of 50 thousand Egyptian pounds.

On the other hand Haifa's office did not comment on the matter. For one, this matter concerns the composer and not her, and no one has contacted her to tell her that there is a case against her at the association.

On his behalf the Music Association head Munir Al Wasmi revealed that he will call in both Haifa and Sami Yousif for questionings and he'll take legal means to do so. He adds that even though three years have passed on Haifa's song, yet Salameh has the right to protect his composed songs.
