Hezbollah has transformed the area into a military zone, digging trenches, shelters and tunnels there.
Hezbollah expects Israel to use the area to land special forces in preparation for a major military campaign against them.

Villagers have confirmed seeing daily military movements in the area as Hezbollah transports truckloads of munitions and stores them in underground warehouses. Villagers there have also confirmed seeing many Iranian military personnel in various sites in the area.
