eido_coffin_1.jpgPresident of the Economic Committees Adnan Kassar said Thursday that Eido's killing aimed at driving Lebanon towards chaos.

Kassar also urged politicians to put an end to their disputes and go back to the dialogue table "to restore security to the country."

The Association of Industrialists said in a treatment that the series of bombings that have rocked Lebanon since the assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri on Feb. 2005 are aimed at "snatching the right of Lebanese to live in security."

"The assassination intends to murder national unity," the statement said.

The General Labor Confederation also denounced Eido's killing in the capital's seaside Manara district on Wednesday.

"Only unity among Lebanese…guarantees an end to horrendous," crimes, the GLC said.
