Pat once suggested that Ariel Sharon's massive stroke was divine punishment for withdrawing from the Gaza Strip. His statement led Israel to suspend contact with the televangelist. But he was back today -- praying with Sharon's successor.

Robertson told reporters "America's evangelical Christians stand with Israel." When asked about the hundreds of civilians that died in Lebanon he blamed Hezbollah.

Robertson is referred to by many as "Crazy Pat". He has a history of making comments that he either had to retract later or apologize for.

He once called for the assassination of Venezuela's president Chavez but later apologized.

He also once referred to the US judges as being more dangerous than the Sept 11 terrorists.

People in the Arab world stopped taking him seriously ever since he started his TV show for his bias towards Israel and his anti Arab views. He is being viewed as more Zionist than the Jews themselves.

One local observer in Beirut told Ya Libnan, after hearing of Pat's prayer for Israeli victory" this guy cannot be Christian ...he obviously does not have God in his heart. Instead of praying for killing people he should have prayed for peace.
