The Shamsoons has hit the Arab world with Egyptian Accents for the Ramadan month.

But the Arab version of "The Simpsons" has undergone changes in order to integrate with Islamic tradition. "Mo's Bar" has been totally written out of "The Shamsoons". Referring to Alcohol and Bacon has totally been written out and replaced by Arab Soda and Beef Sausages respectively.

An Arab media critic stated, "Homer's acting as a pig is too funny, it shouldn't be written out".

MBC are testing this series to see if it will be a hit in the Arab world. Many Arab critics and bloggers have expressed that The Arab version of "The Simpsons" is totally different to the US version because of the integrated changes it has undergone.
