The warm reception from the crowd and continuous chants of "Tieeeesto!" clearly made a difference with the Dutch superstar. Three hours into his set he grabbed a Lebanese flag then proceeded to jump around the stage waving it around, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Lebanon has been waiting a long time for Tiësto to perform here, the anticipation exploded into joy as he played crowd favorites that included "Adiago for Strings", "Traffic" and "Forever Today".

Lebanon's 16,000 gig may have set records in the Middle East, but Tiësto is no stranger to massive audiences. He performs in stadiums across the globe, many which pack over 25,000 people. His most famous performance was when he played at the opening ceremony of the Athens Olympics in 2004, where over 4.5 billion people watched worldwide. No other DJ has ever achieved reached so many people.
