Those who go on murdering our people may or may not be caught and tried, but rest assured that your stand to be free and independent has those who wish to derail you from your intended path loosing the battle. Their only means is murder, but they cannot kill the will of all Lebanese.

The culprits of this heinous murder are a lost cause and are using the only means available to them in trying to silence and crush the will of the Lebanese. They don't realize it yet, but their narrow sighted view of the world will only backfire in rendering them nil and void.

In murdering the innocent, they not only create martyrs, they fuel the fire in every Lebanese to be more determined in their demands for independence and reform from those who are elected to serve them.
These archaic, vulgar techniques of intimidation will not pacify the desire of the Lebanese. Not now, not ever.

The slaughter of Mr. Kassir is a reminder, or a refresher, of what work lies ahead for all Lebanese within and without Lebanon. Lebanese must consider this bloodletting as a badge of honor for service to the greater cause.

May Samir Kassir rest in peace, and may the Lebanese honor his family and friends by not letting his blood be shed in vain.
