It appears that the upcoming parliamentary elections will most likely be held under controversial 1960 electoral law due to failure of the politicians to agree on a new law, media reports said.
“Failure to reach a new electoral law will allow a return to the 1960 law, which enjoys the support of most political forces, although they are publicly claiming the opposite,” The well informed Kuwaiti daily al-Seyassah quoted “credible parliamentary sources” as saying in remarks published Sunday.
