Iran’s Supreme Leader called on Palestinians on Tuesday to pursue an uprising against Israel, suggesting the Israeli government was a “cancerous tumor” that should be confronted until Palestinians were completely liberated.

“… by Allah’s permission, we will see that this intifada will begin a very important chapter in the history of fighting and that it will inflict another defeat on that usurping regime,” Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said, according to his website.

The Supreme Leader’s bellicose comments, made during a two-day conference in Tehran focused on its support for the Palestinians, come at a time of increasingly heated rhetoric between Iran, Israel and the United States.

While on a visit to Washington last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Fox News that Israel and the United States had a “grand mission” to confront the threat of a nuclear Iran.

U.S. President Donald Trump has already been highly critical of a deal hammered out between Iran and world powers, including the United States, in 2015 intended to partially lift sanctions on Tehran in exchange for curbs on its nuclear program.

Iran says its program is for purely peaceful means.

When Iran carried out a ballistic missile test in late January, Trump’s then national security adviser Mike Flynn said the administration was putting Iran “on notice”.

Ordinary Iranians have been posting their concerns about a possible military confrontation between Iran and the United States on social media.

Khamenei did not mention any Iranian military attack against Israel in his comments on Tuesday and was focused on gains that Palestinians could make in any confrontation with Israel, which he described as tumor developing into “the current disaster”.

“The Palestinian intifada continues to gallop forward in a thunderous manner so that it can achieve its other goals until the complete liberation of Palestine,” he said, according to the transcript of the speech posted on his website.

  1. Easy for an old man like he to sit back in luxury and ask Arabs to die for nothing. Typical.

    1. Iran will not declare war with Israel because it doesn’t want to soil its own country but it will certainly fight with every last Lebanese Hezbullah at its disposal. The brainless lot they are.

  2. And if the intifada fails, will the dear Ayatoilet die with his troops or just look for a new crop of mindless jihadis?

    1. it is no wonder Iran can not get along with any country. Who would want to associate with such an irrational Islamic State. Iran is truly fvcked until it can rid itself of its Islamic plague. I am sure only a small portion of Iran actually support this madman, but all will suffer the consequences of their dear leaders insanity.

  3. “CONTINUE to voice yourselves even if you do not hear from the Iranians
as much as you would like to. The reason their response is less frequent
is not because they don’t feel the same way as you do. It is because
they fear for their lives if they go public with their voice.” She
adds,”I promise you that not once in my life have i EVER heard anyone in
Iran say that they want to bomb Israel. Iranians are so preoccupied
with the hardship that exists inside their country with their own
government, economy, lack of freedom etc… that they seldom even think
about Israel! Everything that you hear on TV or the news is propaganda.
It is our government’s opinion and does not in any way represent ours.” http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/328766

  4. I hope Israel goes straight for Khamenei next time and leaves most of Lebanon alone except for the Nasrallah Islamic State in the South. Jews need to cut off the head of the snake not just its tail that stretches throughout the middle east. Something needs to break soon because Khamenei is certainly asking for his Armageddon.

  5. Iran hosted the sixth International Conference in Support of the Falestinian Intifada. Leaders of the Falestinian National Authority has decided to boycott
the event, but the participants were representatives of other Falestinian factions.

Addressing the gathering, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called on to denounce the Oslo Accords, to
overcome internal divisions and get back to the path of armed struggle
    against the Zionists.

“The forces that created the Zionist entity, are doing everything to
make Muslims forget about the Falestinians for they kindle in our region
the fire of war Those who pretend to be your friends, in fact, turned
the wrong way..” – He said.

Syrian Parliament Speaker Hadya Abbas said that Syria remains the main ally of the Falestinians in their struggle for freedom. According to him, the Zionists went to war in Syria to force Damascus to abandon this support. Abbas claims that Israel is directly supporting terrorists.

    In
response, the Falestinian Authority has accused the organizers of the
conference that they are trying to ignite regional war with the help of Falestinian blood. The
TV channel “Al Arabiya” concludes thereby Tehran is trying to divert
attention from his own bellicose policy in Yemen, Syria and Iraq (GT)
