Palestinian refugees from Syria now refugees in Lebanon

Share:

The Beddawi camp for Palestinian refugees in northern Lebanon is one of the country’s largest, with a population of 30,000, and the war in Syria has brought a surge in numbers. The area is one of Lebanon’s poorest, with high unemployment rates and deteriorating infrastructure. Mahar is one of thousands of Palestinian refugees who has had to flee Syria. He is desperately looking for a job and worried about his future. Above all, he hopes his son’s life will be better than his.

Lebanon , a country of just over 4 million is hosting over 1.5 million Syrian refugees  in addition to about 450, 000 Palestinian refugees whose parents  fled to Lebanon in 1948 following the occupation of Palestine by Israel. Tens of thousands of Palestinian refugees who were in the Yarmouk camp near Damascus fled also to Lebanon during the Syrian civil war

Now no different than the ‘internally displaced’ and jobless Lebanese refugees.

In invasion of Iraq there were 4 million refugees who fled to Syria and Jordan, on top of Palestinian refugees (again).
Now millions of refugees from Syria, on TOP of Palestinian refugees (again).
Because of the Lalaland privilege “interests”

      2. “jobless” is everywhere.

Yes indeed. That’s your ‘New World Order’. But Lebanon’s 50% is a little high, and there’s no support for them.

          1. That’s mainly because of refugee problems. Lebanon became a refugee paradise and is used by world powers as the hosting country for their proxy wars refugees.

And/But, Theoretical ‘Lebanese’ hire them instead of Lebanese … boot the higher-paid Lebs … and supply no ‘aid’ for their own.

this is the classic example of why “nice guys finish last”
The lebanese must harden there hearts.
and kick the 450,000 free loading Palestinians out of lebanon and into jordan where they belong.

    1. Why would you want them kicked out to Jordan? They belong to their home, Palestine or where they have been living for over 60 years. Personally I don’t consider them refugees in Lebanon, they are now part of the Lebanese population and they deserve full civil rights.

  3. “Golyat”, you have a wholesome attitude, but in Lebanon, Jordan, Syria the reality it is not so. To many earn money on the “Have” of refugees.

I don’t understand why the government’s in the ME insisting to permanent the refugee camps, instead of integrating them, since they have been living for over 60 years and they deserve full civil rights.

We have some 200.000 citizens (former refugees) that are Palestinian descendants, including Ibrahim Abou-Nagie, the most prominent Salafists in Germany that has been sentenced to probation.

The Cologne District Court saw commercial fraud by Ibrahim Abou Nagie when withdrawing Hartz IV benefits for granted.

Abou Nagie have unjustifiably obtained from February 2010 to May 2012 benefits amounting to around 53,000 € for himself and his family……

      It’s a problem everywhere …
The ‘benefits’ that the people worked 100 years to put in place for their own unfortunate citizens is too often seen these days as an expected ‘right’ to draw from, without ever considering it necessary to work the same way to replace it. But when a ‘fund’ is being used to make some ‘private cash’ on the side, that is simply stealing from those who DO need it, as well as from all the other taxpayers.
Did they check his ‘offshore accounts’? ‘Probation’ might be a little too light.
