Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Friday Iran and world powers had never been closer to a nuclear deal but that there was no guarantee of success.

In a statement broadcast on Youtube, Zarif added: “I see hope because I see emergence of reason over illusion. I sense that my negotiating partners have recognized that coercion and pressure never lead to lasting solutions but to more conflict and further hostility.”

Never been closer?? I can see now that there’s actually no hope at all.

Hehehehe … people are getting silent on it now, because the ‘spin doctors’ have confused the hell out of the whole thing. No-one knows a simple way to describe it.
Zarif says: ‘We want a Deal, and are not building bombs.’ Everyone says: ‘What DOES that mean?’
Obama says: ‘I’ll walk away from a bad deal.’ Everyone says: ‘What DOES that mean?’
And since the ‘bottom lines’ of contracts are not known until actually signed … simple statements are not being accepted at all. The world of pundits says: ‘But what if …..’.
And a ‘contract’ can be broken, one supposes … but until one actually exists why assume it will be??
Even if El Supremo is chomping at his bit to say ‘We won’.
