FSA urges Lebanon to free its commander Colonel Rifai

Colonel Abdullah RifaiThe Free Syrian Army Monday called on the Lebanese government to free  Colonel Abdullah Rifai,  who was  arrested at a Lebanese Army checkpoint near Arsal on Sunday.

“The Lebanese Army is not our enemy,”  FSA said in a statement carried by Elnashra website.

It urged the Lebanese government to free its commander l who heads the FSA Military Council.

The Lebanese Army said in a statement Sunday it arrested Rifai who was being smuggled into the country by Khaled Hujeiri, a local Arsal resident. He was caught with a forged Lebanese I.D. and  disguised in woman’s clothing.

FSA is the  umbrella group of mainstream rebels fighting to topple Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and now have a heavy presence around Arsal since jihadi rebels flooded the town in early August.

    Interesting clue ..”He was caught with a forged Lebanese I.D. and disguised in woman’s clothing.”

    OK now let us see that forged ID so we can see the name and identity.

    If this guy is harmed in any way by those holding him, many Lebanese Sunnis who are sympathetic to the FSA will become more involved in defending their interests than they currently are doing.

    Why doesn’t the “FSA” get together with their partner’s in crime Nursa and al qaeda and releast our 27 Lebanese hostages!! Then maybe you can get your drag queen back.
