The report by Al Manar TV could not be independently confirmed .
The government owned Syrian Arab News Agency SANA confirmed the raid by israel but did not comment about any israeli warplane downed by the Syrian government air forces

Dateam … there is a slight mention of it on the BBC report … but that reporter couldn’t verify the supposed jet-down event. Only that someone said they saw it. Could have been a part of the mountain falling too in that scene. Again, things are mentioned before verifying. C’est la vie. :-))

Looking at the ‘blast’ video, which was indeed fantastic at night, and considering that part of a mountain may have quickly been moved upward, along with other debris seen in the video, any plane flying low enough could have gone up with it. It would be really interesting to see the crater in daylight. One doubts there is much left of the caves below.
