Minister of Social Affairs Wael Abu Faour filed a lawsuit as head of the Higher Juvenile Council against anyone who was shown to be involved in molesting girls in a Mount Lebanon Catholic school, according to a statement issued by his press office on Saturday.

On Friday, LBC television reported that a school teacher was accused of allegedly molesting 11 girls , ages six to eight years , in a school in Mount Lebanon.

“Abu Faour also requested the relevant authorities to carry out an investigation to reveal the identity of the perpetrators and arrest them,” the statement said.

The statement also said that Abu Faour contacted Education Minister Hassan Diab and Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi, adding that they agreed to meet on Monday to address the incident.

You have to understand that the female is on the bottom end of the pole first. Then, that religious courts tell them not to complain about what the male may do, but try to ‘adjust’. This is a ‘civil’ matter, so doesn’t involve the ‘defence’ government, of course. And for sure, no woman wants to end up in a police station to complain.
Faour puts it out as a somewhat general ‘suit’ – and that will lead to lots of dialogue basically obscuring anything … except the shot at the Catholicness of the whole thing.
