Acting Labor Minister Nicolas Fattoush and Lebanese President Michel Suleiman signed on Thursday the transportation allowance decree
This development comes after PM Nagib Mikati accepted the resignation of former Labor minister Charbel Nahhas , who refused to sign the decree .
Energy Minister Gebran Bassil delivered on Wednesday to Mikati the resignation letter of Labor Minister Charbel Nahhas, according to OTV
Nahhas originally submitted on Tuesday his resignation from the cabinet to Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun.
President Michel Suleiman also signed on Thursday the decree of Nahhas’ resignation.
“I hope that this would be an occasion for the cabinet to kick off” its sessions “to achieve what the Lebanese desire,” Fattoush said followinhg his meeting with Mikati at the Grand Serail
He also urged all the officials to abide by the law.
