Lebanon MP: Armed men associated with Hezbollah crossed into Syria

Share:

March 14 MP Mouin al-Merhebi told the Voice of Lebanon radio station on Saturday that armed people closely associated with March 8 and Hezbollah crossed the northern borders into Syrian territories.

He did not elaborate any further.

Yesterday Al Jazeera reported that 3000 Syrian protesters in Abu Kamal near the Iraqi border , Syria set on fire a poster of Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah’s speech in Beirut last Wednesday in support of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad reportedly infuriated demonstrators and activists.

There were several reports that Hezbollah and Iran are assisting the Syrian regime in its brutal crackdown but Nasrallah denied on Wednesday the allegations

According to human rights activists, at least 1,100 people have been killed and over 10,000 others arrested since the revolt against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime began mid-March. Thousands of Syrians fled to Lebanon to escape the violence

they dont need to cross the border with weapons because if they had crossed the regime in syria can provide weapons. Just wondering why they would need to take weapons with them…..

Well .. certainly the Iran-Ayatolla (The Supreme Being) knows how to torture his citizens … been doing it for a long time, along with the monsters (special police) he taught to help him … probably perfected the techniques, and is charging Syria for lessons.
These people are similar to ‘Vlad The Impaler’ of historical fame … the one that the story of Count Dracula was based on – except vampires don’t tenderize the meat and break bones with clubs first. They only suck the blood. (Which was before protests. )Maybe they need some help with breaking bones, and cutting children up – or are giving a weekend symposium on methods.

@josephphdman. Night Vision is not as advanced as you may think basically its not that expensive. You can buy one for about $4000 thats military grade. A good night vision that a sniper shooting at any moving target (no need to see uniform, gender or age) would be about $300. A sniper never uses an automatic weapon because its not accurate and is designed to provide the shooter with overwhelming fire power and give the ability to suppress an enemy as you advance the amount of power its able to unleash and the automatic fire will give you a chance of hitting the target but the push back reduces accuracy . All snipers use single shot bolt action rifles like the draganov witch is basically an ak47 with a larger round and fitted with a handle and longer muzzle for more range and less flash to not give away your position or H&K G-3/SG-1, SG-550s, SG-552 witch are known weapons in the Syrian Army.  Im very sure Syria has sniper rifles and night vision since they were basically shipping them in buses to Iraqi insurgents up until 2005. Adding night vision to a weapon is impossible since its placed over one of your eyes (normally your aiming eye) and you just use the scope on the rifle. Im not saying that they didnt cross in and Im sure they were already in syria helping the regime but im also 100% sure they didnt have to take weapons or night vision. If they did then they entered without Syrian approval to conduct some sort of operation or recon the area for some reason. Or maybe the Regime asked them to help with some border towns or to cut off some deserting soldiers or civilians before they enter Lebanon. Not wating the press in Lebanon to see them they would cross into syria and cut them off in syria or maybe they were doing recon on border villages or stopping a weapons shipment from Lebanon after it entered into syria at the request of the regime. If they entered to help the regime for a long period of time they would want to be very low profile and collect weapons at the place of operations or just before leaving a military base where they will be briefed on the area and orders. I spent 12 years in the Army and served in combat before so I think I know a little about this crap.
