Obama accuses Assad of seeking Iran’s aid in crackdown

US President Barack Obama accused Syrian president Bashar al-Assad of seeking Iranian aid in the brutal crackdown on his own people after a bloody day of protests left over 88 people dead.

“Instead of listening to his own people, President Assad is blaming outsiders while seeking Iranian assistance in repressing Syria’s citizens through the same brutal tactics that have been used by his Iranian allies,” Obama said in a statement.

USA can’t be in all Muslim countries. Yes we support democracy and freedom, but that
doesn’t mean we should interfere in internal affairs of each country. We have to learn from
our mistakes in Iraq. We can’t and shouldn’t push our nose into every civil war. We love to
see the demonstrators succeed in Syria and we support their objectives. When they do, rest
assured that USA would extend helping hands for them and their new regime, but now we
should stay away from this chaos. I’m sure that Hizballah and Iran’s Basdarans are helping
Al-Asad. The Middle East will not rest unless someone cuts off the head of the snake! Iran.

      1. I could care less if the country is Muslim, Christian, Jewish, or any other religion, as that does not matter…what matters is that unarmed men, women and children are being shot in the head, period, and this idiot needs to hang for it….

Hizbollah and Iran are secretly helping Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to repress pro-democracy protests, wrote the Wall Street Journal, citing “American officials” who say that Tehran is providing Syrian security forces with anti-riot equipment and assistance in Internet and mobile phone monitoring and usage by protestors.

At the same time, communications intercepted by American intelligence demonstrate that Iran and Hezbollah are actively examining how they can provide support to radical Shiites in Bahrain and Yemen and destabilise areas allied with the USA, added the newspaper. According to Wall Street Journal sources, this policy could pose a challenge to the interests of the US and Saudi Arabia and fuel religious tensions in the Middle East.
Iran secret police is teaching their counterpart in Syria to send their intelligence between protestors and take their pictures ,after locate where they live and go after them , arrest ,torture them or eliminate them as they did two years ago during Iran demonstrations

  8. Bashar, the world is watching you, and if they were not so sure these past few weeks, they are VERY sure now, that you are a ruthless, heartless dictator, and have now taken your place in history alongside Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Hussein, and, of course, let’s not forget your father, Hafez el Assad. From now on, you will be remembered in history, along with these men, and God-willing, sometime soon, you will be hanging from a light pole, in Downtown Damascus, for the crimes and massacres, you have committed, in front of the entire world, against your own people. You will burn in hell, ya Bashar…..next to you, on the other light poles, will be your brother Maher, your cousin Rami, the Butcher of Lebanon, Rustom Ghazali, and Farouk Sharaa, as well. I will fly to Syria, to spit on your bodies, as they hang in public….

OK, Syria doesn’t have any valuable resources does it Mr. Obama? That’s why you only give words to the Syrian President who has done worse than Gadhafi! NATO does not care about humanitarian aid, just the 5% of global oil supply that Libya provides. Only the nand of the people are capable to finish these dictators , we can do it ourselves as the Lebanese dd kick 30000 Syrian troops with no help

  14. The non-Muslims in Lebanon who support Hizballah do so in disgust of U.S. policies and its refusal to give a helping hand for the maintenance of the Christian government in Lebanon. SO WHAT IF LEBANON IS AND REMAINS A CHRISTIAN GOVERNMENT AND COUNTY IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

The also do so, because they think Iran is the lesser evil vis-a-vis Israel, or that the horns of the Iranian evil has not reached Lebanon yet. Really!

Though Israel wants resources from Lebanon which I would cut off their hands, Israel does not, can not and will not invade and take over Lebanon. On the other hand, Hizballah is the “De facto” Iranian regime. Oh yeh, Hizballah is in Lebanon.

SO YES, CUT OFF THE HEAD OF THE EVIL IN IRAN.

  17. They look evil ,both of them and Assad positively demented!
What hope is there for true peace and understanding throughout this troubled world, when so called leaders cling to power through the barrel of a gun aimed at their own people?
I guess however their Mothers are the only ones still proud of them.More rhetoric from Obama is not going to change Assad’s mindset and the fact that Syria is not sitting on a sea of oil, means no action no cease and desist and more revolting slaughter.
