4 of the Kidnappers of Estonians arrested, their car found

MTV reported on Wednesday that Internal Security Forces found the Mercedes car used in the kidnapping of the seven Estonians.

Seven European citizens were kidnapped near the Bekaa valley city of Zahle on Wednesday after they had entered Lebanon from Syria on their bikes.

In a related development Internal Security Forces Director General Achraf Rifi told LBC television on Wednesday that four out of the six people involved in the kidnapping of the Estonians have been detained.

MTV identified on of the arrested as Mohammed Hashisho. He was detained in Kamed al-Louz .

OTV said the father and the brother of Wael Abbas, the owner of the van and the Mercedes that were used in the kidnap of the seven Estonians was arrested

“There are two on the run, and it is believed that they are detaining the abducted seven Estonians .”

The group of Darweesh Khanjar has nothing to do with the kidnapping, Rifi also said, adding that the security forces will continue looking for the kidnapped Europeans.

Yesterday it was reported that Khanjar was the head of the gang that kidnapped the Estonians

An explosive device detonated outside the door of a Church in the Zahle industrial city early Sunday morning was linked to the same kidnappers
